Summit staff members to speak at national Workers' Compensation Educational Conference
LAKELAND, Fla., July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit is pleased to announce that three of its staff members will present at the 68th annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference (WCEC), a program of the not-for-profit Workers' Compensation Institute Inc. (WCI). Summit is a leading provider of workers' compensation services throughout the Southeast.
Bob O'Halloran, Summit's vice president of Claims, explains, "It's an honor that our staff members are asked to be part of this conference. In fact, members of our staff have been involved as speakers and committee members for more than 25 years. We pride ourselves in being known as the people who know workers' comp, and this is a great venue for us to share our knowledge. We also value the opportunity to gain more knowledge from our colleagues in the industry, and to further support the goal we share with WCI—promoting workers' compensation education."
Summit's speakers this year are Jana Cauley, claims compliance supervisor, who will be part of a mock trial; Pam Last, claims operations manager, who plays a lead role on the "Blips, Bloopers and Blunders" panel; and Melody Richardi, claims agency liaison supervisor, who will discuss the claims data that carriers collect and why.
The conference will be held from August 18 through August 21, 2013, at the Orlando World Center Marriott. To register or to learn more, visit www.wci360.com/conference.
