Goodenough noted that the new directors bring a wide range of operating experience at major B2B media companies to their new roles:
Charles McCurdy, Chairman: Former CEO of Canon Communications, which was sold late last year to United Business Media, McCurdy has held roles of high visibility in a number of media companies, including Primedia and Macmillan. He is immediate past Chairman of American Business Media, former Executive Committee member of SISO, and serves on the Cygnus Business Media board. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Yale.
David Nussbaum: Current Chairman and CEO of F+W Media and the former CEO of Penton Media, Nussbaum also serves on the Thomas Nelson board and is an advisory board member of Metamorphic Ventures. He holds a BS in Journalism from Boston University.
Jason Young: Former CEO and 20-year veteran of Ziff Davis Media, Young has recently founded a new company focused on delivery of digital advertising to mobile/smart device ecosystem called Smart Device Media. He also serves as an advisory board member to Madison Logic and Crisp Media. Young holds a BA from Tufts University.
Jean Clifton: Clifton's previous roles include EVP and CFO of Penton Media and SVP and CFO at Reader's Digest Association. She serves on the board of an Indian company, Dainik Bhaskar, and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.
