Suggs, Maslowski Join Renovate America In Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 1, 2016  /PRNewswire/ -- Renovate America, the largest provider of residential Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing in the U.S., has hired Missouri-based executives Joe Suggs and John Maslowski to lead the expansion of the company's HERO PACE Program into the state, working with the Missouri Clean Energy District.

Renovate America partners with local governments to provide its version of PACE, the HERO Program (Home Energy Renovation Opportunity), to homeowners to finance a wide variety of advanced energy product installations. These installations include energy-efficient products like heating, air conditioning, ventilation and cooling systems, energy-saving window and roofing projects, and renewable energy products like solar. HERO is unique in that it provides 100 percent financing for up to 20 years with fixed interest rates designed to make payments affordable. Homeowners make payments along with their property taxes, and the interest on the payments may be deductible. In the event the property is sold, the remaining balance may be able to transfer to the new owner.

John Maslowski joined Renovate America as Vice President, Market Development, for Missouri and is responsible for helping to make HERO and other financing products available throughout the state. Prior to Renovate, Maslowski led business development in the Midwest for a San Francisco-based startup, launched his own consulting firm, served as Vice President of Supply Chain at a private-equity-owned regional food retailer and manufacturer, and worked as an investment banker focusing on mergers, acquisitions and advisory for a boutique investment bank. John earned an MBA and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Joe Suggs joined Renovate America as Missouri Vice President of Operations and is responsible for locally managing Channel Sales and Marketing, Strategic Accounts, and all other field operations-related functions. Before joining Renovate America, Suggs oversaw all sales activity in a 12-state region for a major HVAC manufacturer and directed national sales for a leading provider of energy management systems to businesses. Before his business career, Suggs spent 20 years in the Marine Corps serving as an attack pilot and amassing over 5000 military flight hours. He earned a BS from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from Jacksonville University.
