SUBWAY Brings Most Important Meal of the Day to Greater Milwaukee
Healthy breakfast, Seattle's Best coffee and full lunch menu available now at 7:00 a.m.
MILWAUKEE, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- SUBWAY® restaurants, numbering 175 stores and employing 1,400 in southeastern Wisconsin, are widely known for tasty and healthy lunch/dinner menus for customers with busy lives. Now SUBWAY announces the launch of its healthy breakfast menu in Greater Milwaukee with a 7:00 a.m. opening.
The SUBWAY healthy breakfast menu will be available all day in Wisconsin stores along with their popular regular menu, making it convenient for busy Wisconsinites to stop in and get a healthy breakfast anytime, and pick up lunch too. Healthy breakfast choices begin by building your breakfast sandwich with a yellow egg omelet or a lower calorie white egg omelet on a light English muffin. Customers can also choose more indulgent options including ham and cheese, western, double bacon and cheese, and steak and cheese, all served on a six-inch flatbread or light English muffins.
"SUBWAY is well-known for its healthy lunch and dinner menu choices, but healthy morning meals seem to be lacking in the breakfast category in the U.S. Now our busy customers can stop in early to grab a hot, healthy breakfast on the way to work, and select their favorite lunch sandwich for later," said Mike Jameson, Developing Agent for SUBWAY.
Breakfast is a $40.7 billion business among Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) in the U.S. each year and breakfast represents over 20 percent of potential business. Already popular SUBWAY hopes to make great gains in the breakfast business. The Starbucks-owned Seattle's Best Coffee, the second most recognized premium coffee brand in the U.S., will serve as SUBWAY's the exclusive coffee brand.
SUBWAY's Build a Better Breakfast program ad campaign launches nationwide on Monday, April 5, 2010.
