BURBANK, Calif., May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- STXtv, a division of STX Entertainment, today announced it has acquired the rights to a new scripted series created by David Sangalli and Kevin Kwan, the international best-selling author of the "Crazy Rich Asians / China Rich Girlfriend / Rich People Problems" trilogy, which has been translated into 12 languages to date, and sold millions of copies. The series, still to be titled, will be a jet-setting drama following characters across the United States, Europe and China, and marks the pair's debut in television.

ICM Partners brokered the deal for Kwan and Sangalli and Kwan's lawyer is Peter Nichols at Lichter, Grossman, Nichols and Adler.
