Studio Enterprise Partnership brings U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program to Studio School Los Angeles, Entertainment Industry-Focused College, on November 13 to Focus on STEM Studies and the Arts
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Studio Enterprise—the vertically integrated content company that uses education and training as a platform to impact the media and entertainment industry, will for the second year host the U.S. State Department's International Visitors Council in Los Angeles (IVCLA) on their #HiddenNoMore program. The event will be held in coordination with the four-year entertainment-focused college, Studio School Los Angeles, a private and accredited specialized academic institution that is the first-of-its-kind college program embedded within a studio lot at LA Center Studios. Studio School is a branch of Hussian College—an educational institution designed for commercial arts and academic programming. Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs at Studio School focus on film and digital content, acting, commercial dance, and entrepreneurship. All programs have a strong emphasis on training future leaders in the ever-changing business of entertainment through a heavy emphasis in entrepreneurship.
The event is organized by the International Visitors Council of Los Angeles (IVCLA) in conjunction with the African Technology Foundation (ATF) and LIONS@FRICA. Aptly titled :#HIDDENNOMORE: Empowering Women Leaders in STEM, the event will feature an esteemed panel discussion titled: "Advancing the Narrative on Sheroes: The Convergence of Technology and Media." The panel, curated by Studio School faculty, staff, students, and ATF, will specifically celebrate female leaders in media and entertainment and explore how STEM intersects with the Arts to bring innovation, creativity, and storytelling to the next generation of STEM leaders.
