Studio Center Names Katie Boyle Vice President Of Audio Services
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Studio Center, headquartered in Virginia Beach, Va., is pleased to announce the promotion of Katie Boyle to the company's newly created position of Vice President of Audio Services.
Boyle, a graduate from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University with a degree in Audio Engineering, has been working as a Senior Audio Engineer at Studio Center since 2009.
Prior to coming to Studio Center, Boyle worked at XM Satellite Radio in Washington, D.C. as one of the first three engineers in the prestigious Performance Theatre. She collaborated with major recording artists including Musiq Soulchild, Switchfoot, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes and the Grammy-nominated Lamb of God, who later released Boyle's recording on Epic Records.
Boyle also served a the Music Director of Active Rock at XM, specializing in the metal genre, and hosted a "live" daily radio show on XM's Liquid Metal and a weekend show on the Boneyard.
Boyle cultivated her sound design skills at Clean Cuts Music (Washington, D.C.) where she mixed television shows, documentaries and promos for HGTV, TLC, National Geographic, the Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel.
