Studio Center Adds Audio Engineer/Producer in Washington, DC
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Studio Center announced today the addition of Jim "Pants" Gregg to the position of Audio Producer/Engineer.
Gregg, a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago, IL, has enjoyed an impressive career in audio production and imaging with stops at WRCX-FM (Producer of the "Lou Brutus Show"),
WNUA-FM, WUBT/WKSC-FM and VH-1 (where he produced creative show imaging and artist ID's for the nationally syndicated "Classic Rock Nights with Eddie Webb"). For the past 14 years, Gregg served as Production Director at Sirius XM Satellite Radio and helped launch several channels including The Boneyard, The Loft, Classic Rewind, Lithium, Radio Margaritaville and Grateful Dead.
One of the many highlights in Gregg's storied career was being asked by Chicago Mayor
Richard Daley to produce the musical montage that was synchronized with the city's Millennium fireworks celebration.
Gregg will work out of Studio Center's recently opened Washington, DC location, but will work with clients across the country.
Commenting about the addition of Gregg, Studio Center's CEO, William "Woody" Prettyman, said "Jim is a wonderful audio engineer and fantastic producer! Our DC location is a big move for us, so we needed big talent. That's Jim! "
