Student Scholarship Applications Available For KPMG Master Of Accounting With Data And Analytics Program
NEW YORK, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. audit, tax, and advisory firm KPMG LLP has opened the application process for the second class of students in its KPMG Master of Accounting with Data and Analytics program, developed in conjunction with The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business and the Villanova School of Business.

KPMG will pay tuition, room, and board for successful applicants, who also must apply and earn acceptance to the schools.
KPMG has disrupted the education experience for the audit profession by integrating courses in accounting and auditing with the real-world application of technologies and advanced D&A capabilities to develop auditors for an era of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other digital advances.
The successful applicants also will work as interns on KPMG audit teams during the spring semester and join KPMG's Audit practice through an advanced-entry program.
"The new technologies must be matched with people who know how to use them effectively," said Roger O'Donnell, KPMG's global data and analytics lead for Audit. "We have a critical need for talented people with a thirst for continuous learning who can cope with massive amounts of change. We're investing heavily to change how we attract, train, and deploy students to have an immediate and lasting impact on our business."
Fifty-one students were enrolled in 2016 in the first class. Meanwhile, KPMG is working to expand the program to include a larger population of students and additional schools for classes beginning the fall of 2018. Learn more about the program here.
