Stubb's Announces Gluten-Free Certification for All Its BBQ Sauces and Marinades
GFCO certified line on grocery store shelves beginning in July.
AUSTIN, Texas, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for Fourth of July grilling, Stubb's Legendary Kitchen, makers of all-natural Stubb's Barbecue sauces, rubs and marinades, announces its entire line has received the official Gluten-Free Certification Organization's seal. The reformulated line hits grocery store shelves beginning July 1.
Stubb's, the nation's #1 brand of super-premium barbecue sauces, rubs and marinades, is the only mainstream national BBQ brand to feature all gluten-free recipes. The reformulated line is sold in 80 percent of grocery stores nationwide and features a new label design that incorporates the GFCO seal.
"Everything we are doing with the reformulation and the new label is about staying true to our heritage as an authentic Texas barbecue sauce," said Stubb's Legendary Kitchen President and CEO Kurt Koegler. "Our founder, C.B. "Stubb" Stubblefield was the King of Texas Blues and Barbecue, and we want our sauces to live up to his famous name."
Stubb's all-natural barbecue sauces are available in Original, Spicy, Mild, Smokey Mesquite, Honey Pecan and Hickory Bourbon. Marinades include Beef, Chicken, Pork, Texas Steakhouse, Moppin' Sauce and Wing Sauce. All the flavors are gluten-free and use cane sugar rather than corn syrup for sweetness.
"The average consumer won't taste any difference with the gluten-free reformulation, but those who eat gluten-free will love our sauces, rubs and marinades as much as our long-time fans," Koegler said. "Stubb's is truly a sauce line that everyone can enjoy."
