Stryker Orthopaedics Brings Premiere On-Site Activation to Colonial Country Club in Effort to Educate Golf Fans on Joint Health
MAHWAH, N.J., May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Stryker Orthopaedics, the Official Joint Replacement Products of the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions, today announced its presence at the 2016 DEAN & DELUCA Invitational – one of the most historic events of the PGA TOUR. Stryker will stop at the Colonial Country Club for the first time, to educate golf fans about the importance of joint health through the company's most recent fan-focused activation, the Stryker Challenge.
Stryker recognizes fans' enthusiasm for the tournament's 70th anniversary and has dedicated efforts to enhance the experience of tournament goers. Located within the Stryker Mobility Zone – the premiere on-site destination for learning about joint health – the Stryker Challenge enhances the overall fan experience with interactive, educational activities to test participants' knowledge of joint health, mobility and golf. In addition, local orthopaedic surgeons will be on-site, providing joint health assessments and information about how Stryker products may help patients return to their everyday activities post-surgery. Lastly, as an added component to 2016, the Stryker Mobility Zone will be offering hats for sale to benefit K9s For Warriors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing service canines to military veterans suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury or other military trauma as a result of military service post 9/11.
