Structured Settlement Quotes Investigates JG Wentworth Quote Practices
Survey conducted by SSQ Structured Settlement Quotes Inc. finds that J.G. Wentworth gives inconsistent and misleading quotes to annuitants. Annuitants calling 877-CASH-NOW did not receive the same offers as those who contact JG Wentworth through their internet number.
WASHINGTON, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A recent survey conducted by SSQ Structured Settlement Quotes Inc. finds that J.G. Wentworth gives inconsistent and misleading quotes to annuitants. Callers who hope to sell their structured settlement payments by dialing the telephone number featured in their TV advertisement 877-CASH-NOW do not receive the same offers as those who contact JG Wentworth through the internet.
The survey, conducted between April 20 to April 30, 2012, polled individuals who had dialed 877-CASH-NOW and also contacted J.G. Wentworth through the internet and received at least two quotes from them for the same payment stream. 65 percent of those who reviewed their experience with J.G. Wentworth noted a discrepancy that reached up to $20,000 in some cases.
As the number of structured settlement annuitants in tight financial situations increases dramatically, so does the need to monitor structured settlement factoring companies' business practices.
These survey results appear to bring into question the reliability of J.G. Wentworth's pricing offers, and whether annuitants who call 877-CASH-NOW or contact them via the Internet are really getting the true market value for their payments.
