Strong Durham Schools Website Launched, WorkSmart Donates Web Development

DURHAM, N.C., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- WorkSmart, a leading provider of Information Technology services in North Carolina, announced today its involvement in the recently launched Strong Durham Schools website. Strong Durham Schools is a project begun by members of Durham Allies for Responsive Education, a group formed to support and strengthen the Durham Public Schools.  The WorkSmart team is honored to participate in an effort to accentuate the great things happening in the community's public schools.

The Strong Durham Schools website highlights the strengths of the schools, displaying honest, first person accounts of thriving students who are achieving academic success.   Elizabeth Tolman, a parent of two children enrolled in Durham Public Schools, posts pieces to help parents make the school choice decision for their families.  

After acquiring the website's domain name, Tolman needed help to develop the website.  As WorkSmart is represented on the Superintendent's Business Advisory Council, it was not long before WorkSmart's services were volunteered.  COO Clay Harris eagerly donated web development and site hosting.
