The cloud based system is free for the end user, and can be accessed from smartphones, tablets and computers. To report a problem in under 2 minutes, users simply capture a photograph of the issue, and submit it via Street Repairs with information about the location, and nature of the fault. The details are then passed on to the relevant authority or the highways agency in real time. Users can choose to make the report anonymously, or submit their telephone number and receive updates via text.
