Stratos Announces Availability of its New StratosTrax Tracking Portal for a Wide Range of Mobile Devices

StratosTrax features fully integrated GPS and geofencing capabilities for web-based location, identification and tracking of users.

The new StratosTrax solution is both device and medium agnostic, supporting satellite, GSM, 3G and radio devices. The new portal now supports a wide range of mobile devices, including Inmarsat Global Satellite Phone Services (GSPS), Blackberry units, Iridium Extreme and Iridium Short Burst Data units.
In the coming months, Stratos expects to announce StratosTrax support for additional devices, including iPhone, IsatData Pro, Inmarsat BGAN, Inmarsat FleetBroadband DTS and Inmarsat C services.
StratosTrax features an intuitive, user-friendly interface that integrates Google mapping views in Map, Satellite, Hybrid and Terrain options. All devices can be viewed on a single map.
The portal also features a breadcrumb function that enables users to quickly trace their trail, with tracking-update intervals programmable from 15 seconds to one week.
The cost-effective StratosTrax solution is available for as little as $20 per month, in addition to the cost of the mobile device's data plan. The portal easily integrates with mobile devices in less than five minutes.
