Her career history includes English Teacher at Santa Clara Unified School District and Shasta Union High School District; Editor, Writer, and Photographer at General Electric's Nuclear Energy Division in San Jose and The Emporium in San Francisco. While in college, she worked as a Typesetter and Advertiser at the Willow Glen Resident Newspaper in Sunnyvale. Ms. Cox is a member of the California Teachers Association, the National Association of Professional Women, the Moreno Valley Master Chorale, the Society of Professional Journalists, and a former Tenor with Sweet Adelines' Northern Gateway Chorus.
