StrategyOne July 4th Survey: Family, Not Fireworks What Most Americans Look Forward To
NEW YORK, July 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Forget the fireworks and forget the food, what Americans are looking forward to most about the July 4th holiday is spending time with their family.
Spending time with their family is mentioned by 41% of the more than 1,000 Americans polled recently by StrategyOne.
Family significantly out polls all other mentions including;
- 14% who most look forward to nice weather/ summer weather
- 13% who most look forward to spending time with friends
- 12% who most look forward to Fireworks
- 11% who most look forward to an extra day off from work
- 8% who most look forward to the food they will eat or cook
- 1% who most look forward to a parade

Survey Methodology:
StrategyOne conducted 1,050 online interviews among a representative sampling of Americans between June 25 and 27, 2010. The overall margin of sampling error at the 95% level of confidence is = +/- 3.02% overall and larger for subgroups. Statistical weights were designed from the United States Census Bureau statistics.
