Stradling Website Wins Two Best in Class Awards from Interactive Media Council

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, a premier business law firm with over 120 attorneys in seven locations on the West Coast, today announced that its website ("sycr.com") received the Interactive Media Awards™ ("IMA") Best in Class distinctions under two different categories - Professional Services and Legal. The Best in Class award is the highest honor bestowed by the organization.  

The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovative technical features, standards compliance, and content. In order to win this award level, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area — an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year. Out of a possible score of 500, the Stradling website received 482 points to secure two Best in Class distinctions.

"Our judges include the top advertising and marketing professionals in the country," said Anna Lawrence, Director of Communications for IMA. "They were so impressed with the firm's submission that they decided to recognize it in both the professional services and legal categories, something our judges rarely do. In fact, less than 3% of submissions earn dual designations each year," said Lawrence.

In 2013, there were 172 and 78 submissions in the professional services and legal categories respectively. Stradling is one of six firms that earned Best in Class distinctions in legal and one of ten who earned the recognition in the professional services category.
