Stormwater Professionals Face Deadline for Education & Certification
ANAHEIM, Calif., July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Water protection experts will gather in Anaheim August 21–25 to explore the newest pollution prevention technologies and discuss which strategies are most effective in minimizing surface water pollution. The new California General Construction Permit requires everyone needing the Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) certification to attend an approved QSD training course before September 2. StormCon will host the final QSD-qualifying training course in the state before the deadline takes effect. For the first time, Preparing for the Rising Tide: Coastal Protection Symposium will be co-located with StormCon.
