Storage Post's New Jersey Self Storage Facilities Collecting Coat Donations

ATLANTA, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Storage Post Self Storage has again partnered with Jersey Cares in a statewide effort to collect warm winter coats for New Jersey men, women and children in need. The 17^th Annual Jersey Cares Coat Drive continues until Saturday, December 15, 2012, with Storage Post New Jersey locations acting as official public collection and drop-off sites.

This year's coat collection is especially important due to New Jersey's extensive damage from super storm Sandy. In addition to collecting in its stores, Storage Post is offering the use of its moving trucks to transport coats to the Jersey Cares storage warehouse. On Saturday, November 10, Storage Post helped Jersey Cares collect and deliver hundreds of coats at the Rutgers football game.

"This year, more than ever, we need to spread the warmth to the people of New Jersey. Storm Sandy has left people without homes, without electricity and in dire need of assistance. As a member of the community, Storage Post urges everyone to donate coats to Jersey Cares," said Chief Operating Officer Jack Chaney. "These coats can make all the difference for New Jersey families and individuals during the winter weather."

To participate in the relief effort, bring freshly-laundered and gently-used coats to Storage Post's Linden or Jersey City locations. Collection boxes will be prominently displayed in the front offices throughout the coat drive. Only coats are accepted as donations.
