LONDON, Aug. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Storage Made Easy announced today that they have released version 10 of their self-hosted Enterprise File Sync and Share Fabric which federates on-premises and on-cloud stored data providing a single management and control point.
Release highlights include the underlying Linux OS upgraded to Centos 7 inclusive of a full security sweep and hardening for the upgraded OS validated by external penetration testing.
The release also includes support for the Mobile Iron MDM solution, and extends CloudEdit support to Mac (in addition to Windows). CloudEdit is a feature that allows end users to instantly edit files opened directly from the web on the desktop.

Version 10 is also the first release certified for use with Galera GEO replication clustering, and Storage Made Easy's own Cluster solution which provides the ability to manage users and appliances deployed in different regions from a single tenant, and additionally enables sharing and management of team folders across geographic cluster tenants.
Storage Made Easy CEO Jim Liddle said, "We have had some stellar blue chip and well known client wins over the last twelve months with world renowned companies. If we were able to disclose the names of these customers, and the products we displaced, I have no doubt that it would make the industry sit up and take notice. As it is we continue to be the choice of those enterprises and service providers who do their due diligence which leads them to discover the SME solution, often expressing astonishment that they have not come across it before."
"We are a profitable, non-venture backed company from the UK that has global customer presence and with version 10 of our software we expect to continue to make large inroads into the enterprise, with Internet Service providers, educational establishments, and Government, which are our target markets."

About Storage Made Easy
The Storage Made Easy Enterprise File Share and Sync Fabric enables IT to regain control of "cloud sprawl", unifying private and public file sharing into a single, converged storage infrastructure that can easily be managed and be used to set governance and audit controls.
The SME solution offers a "blanket" that enterprises can privately apply to wrap around all their data: on premises, within a public cloud, or on a third party software vendors' cloud (SharePoint or SalesForce for example). Customers use SME for security, encryption, audit, and control as well as to provide a data unification platform.
Storage Made Easy is the trading name of Vehera LTD who have sales offices in the UK, USA and Switzerland.
