LONDON, Feb. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Storage Made Easy, a leading provider of private clouds solutions, announced today that their Enterprise File Share and Sync Solution is now certified "Helion Ready" and will be available to deploy on HP's distribution of OpenStack Swift.

"We support and partner with almost all the major OpenStack distribution vendors" said Jim Liddle, Storage Made Easy CEO. "Our Enterprise File Share and Sync and combined Cloud Control Gateway has always been a great fit for OpenStack Swift object storage, especially given that we are one of the only vendors to concentrate on providing true CIFS drive access to data as well as Sync, something we view as being increasingly important as data volumes that need to be accessed and managed rise.
Accessing data plus integration with best of breed identity management and Apps such as Office and Outlook is only one part of what we provide. Being able to provide the security control and intelligence to the data via our integration with Apache SOLR enables companies to have security and intelligence for their storage corporate data asset."
The SME EFSS Cloud Control Gateway provides strong business features for accessing enterprise data from any device in any location by enabling secure sharing, auditing, and governance of data.
In addition to OpenStack the Storage Made Easy Solution currently supports more than 45 private and public data clouds enabling a company to promote a seamless intelligent layer for all of their data security and data monitoring activities.

About Storage Made Easy (SME):
Storage Made Easy is the trading name of Vehera LTD who has offices in the UK, USA and Switzerland. The SME solution allows IT to regain control of "cloud data sprawl" by unifying private/public company data and privately used employee cloud data solutions into a single converged infrastructure.
This can easily be managed and be used to set and enforce governance and audit controls for file access and sharing in addition to providing deep content search of indexed data.
This approach provided a solution to the "shadow IT" conundrum and makes it possible for companies to find a balance between the protection of corporate data and employee data by allowing businesses to monitor, secure and audit all data silos, be they private or cloud or company or employee, from a single access point.
