Stopping the Federal Government Overreach - Join The Convention of States Project Montana for a Series of Town Hall Meetings Hosted in Helena, Montana Jan. 26 & 27, 2015
Calling all Montanans Ready to Take Back Our Money, Our Liberty and Our Self-Governance by Asking Your State Senator and Representative to Support SJR 7
HELENA, Mont., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Convention of States Project Montana team wants all Montanans to know that there is a solution to ending federal tyranny by restoring meaningful limits on federal power—but only if we insist that our state legislators use their power in Article V of the Constitution to place a final check on Washington, D.C. All events are free and open to the public on a first-come basis, as seating is limited.
Guest speakers include: Constitutional and Article V expert, Professor Robert "Rob" G. Natelson, Senior Fellow in Constitutional Jurisprudence and Director of the Article V Information Center at the Independence Institute in Denver and University of Montana Professor, School of Law (Ret.), will report on his scrupulous Article V research.
Mark Meckler, President of Citizens for Self-Governance, and co-founder of the Convention of States Project, will provide information about the nonpartisan proposal to use Article V to call a Convention of States. Georgia, Florida and Alaska passed Article V applications in 2014.
What: Three Article V town hall meetings hosted by the Convention of States Project Montana to educate residents about Article V in the Constitution and Montana Senate Joint Resolution 7 calling for a convention of the states to ending federal overreach and reinvigorating state legislators to reclaim the power outlined to them in the Constitution.
