PURCHASE, N.Y. & QUINCY, Mass., April 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC, following a recall by Rich Products Corporation, announced it removed from sale several varieties of Farm Rich® snack products due to possible contamination with Escherichia coli 0121 bacteria (E. coli).

The following products are included in this recall:
- Farm Rich® Mini Quesadillas Appetizers, UPC 04132235635, 18 oz, with sell by dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014
- Farm Rich® Mini Pizza Slices, UPC 04132235643, 22 oz, with sell by dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014
- Farm Rich® Mozzarella Bites, UPC 04132237443, 22 oz. with sell by dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014
Customers who have purchased the product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Stop & Shop for a full refund.
Symptoms of E.coli 0121 exposure could include stomach cramps and diarrhea, including diarrhea with bloody stools. Although most healthy adults can recover completely within a week, some people can develop a form of kidney failure called Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). HUS is most likely to occur in young children and the elderly. If any of the described symptoms are exhibited, medical attention should be sought.
