QUINCY, Mass., Oct. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Following notification from its supplier, General Mills, The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC has removed from stores Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Chocolate-Granola Bars due to a manufacturing error where labeled Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars were placed inside Chewy Chocolate-Granola Bar packages. The product contains peanut butter, a known allergen that is undeclared on the external packaging.

- Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Chocolate-Granola Bar, 4.1 oz., UPC 1600026164
To date, Stop & Shop has received no reports of illness associated with consumption of this product. Customers who have purchased the product should discard any unused portions or bring their purchase receipt to the store for a full refund. This product is safe for consumption by individuals who do not suffer from a peanut allergy.
