OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- StoneRiver, the most trusted partner in unclaimed property reporting, today announced that industry veteran Christa DeOliveira has joined the company as the compliance officer for StoneRiver's Unclaimed Property Practice.  Ms. DeOliveira's appointment demonstrates StoneRiver's continued and increased focus on expanding its market presence and leadership position in the unclaimed property market.

In her new position, DeOliveira will serve as liaison to each reporting jurisdiction, monitor all relevant legislation through a variety of sources, and ensure the superior performance of StoneRiver unclaimed property reporting software and outsourcing services.  She will also serve as a direct resource and thought leader for StoneRiver clients at industry meetings and conferences, as well as virtual forums throughout the year. Her professional guidance and vast experience will help StoneRiver clients to more effectively comply with recent changes to dormancy periods, project future compliance liability with accuracy, and maintain a superior level of precision and timeliness in compliance reporting.

DeOliveira is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional.  She is the 2011-2012 president of the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization (UPPO), the nation's premier association for unclaimed property holders.  

DeOliveira's expertise encompasses more than ten years of industry experience directing compliance operations, unclaimed property reporting, asset recovery, audit defense, and voluntary disclosure. As a well known thought leader in the compliance industry, DeOliveira continues to be a much sought after compliance expert for industry publications and industry conferences such as UPPO and the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA).  Throughout her career, she has developed an expert knowledge of StoneRiver's Tracker Unclaimed Property software, relying on the system in hands-on roles with: J.
