Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Coming to Liberty Station

SAN DIEGO, May 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Corky McMillin Companies is pleased to announce the lease of 18,820 square feet of Liberty Station's Historic Building 1 to Stone Brewing Co., to be used as a new outpost of their award-winning restaurant: Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens.  The company recently signed a lease for a new brewery, restaurant and gift shop at 2816 Historic Decatur Road.  With 40 craft and specialty beers on tap, an extensive wine list, and locally-grown cuisine, Stone Brewing Co. will bring a new dimension to Liberty Station's family of restaurants. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station is anticipated to open in early 2012.

Joining a popular location in Escondido, CA, the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station will be the company's second bistro.  Stone Brewing Co. specializes in locally-grown, small-farm ingredients and features a menu of world-inspired cuisine. The company is the largest restaurant purchaser of local, small-farm organic produce in San Diego County.

Stone Brewing Co. is leasing space at the fully-restored Building 1 at Liberty Station's NTC Landing.  Building 1 was the first edifice constructed at the historic Naval Training Center.  With 97,483 square feet, approximately 60% of Liberty Station's NTC Landing is now leased or under negotiation.
