Stofa Selects VisualOn to Manage and Deliver High-Quality Service for Its Over-the-Top (OTT) Deployments Across Multiple Platforms

Stofa, the second largest cable TV and triple play operator in Denmark, and a subsidiary of the country's third largest energy supplier, SE, provides a broad selection of television and pay-TV offerings, high-speed broadband, and telephone services to its customers. Some 475,000 households are connected to its IP backbone out of 600,000 customer homes. The two companies have been working together since December 2014 when Stofa selected VisualOn to power its streaming media application, WebTV. Since then, Stofa has continued to expand on the service by adding more platforms and offerings.
