STM Goods and Element Case Launch Augmented Reality Apps to Enhance Customer Experience & On-the-go Product Interaction
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- (CES) -- STM Goods, a leading designer of innovative bags, cases, and accessories for consumer electronics, and Element Case, the creator of original premium grade smart phone accessories, announced today the launch of separate augmented reality (AR) applications that transform the consumer shopping experience. A first within the consumer electronics industry, this ground-breaking technology will give consumers an entirely new way to explore their backpacks and mobile phone cases.
Utilizing augmented reality technology, the apps, available for iOS and Android, showcase computer-generated video and graphics to enhance a real-world setting, creating an interactive experience for the user. The STM Goods application allows consumers to "try-on" the bags, helping them determine which one they would like to purchase based on look, size, color, etc. The app also gives users a virtual tour of the outer and inner features of the bag, including trademarked SlingTech™ technology, innovative Cable Ready™ cable-routing system and more. The app is available for the Kings, Judge and Trilogy bags.

The app allows users to explore the Black Ops phone case utilizing a 'deconstructed' feature, which showcases an 'exploded' view of the case. This feature gives consumers a detailed look at every part of the case, including the MERC 5™ technology, CNC machined G10 and aircraft grade aluminum, proprietary HIT™ technology and QLC™ locking crowns.
