Still Time To Sign Up For Allwell From Louisiana Healthcare Connections During The 2018 Medicare Enrollment Period

BATON ROUGE, La., Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual enrollment for Medicare beneficiaries ends next week, on Dec. 7, 2017. Louisiana Healthcare Connections offers Medicare Advantage products, branded as Allwell from Louisiana Healthcare Connections. The new plan will be effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Allwell will be providing plans and coverage for residents in the following parishes: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Livingston, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and West Baton Rouge.

Medicare is a government health insurance program for people age 65 or older. It may also cover certain younger people with disabilities, as well as those suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Allwell from Louisiana Healthcare Connections' products include a variety of benefits preventive care; dental, vision and hearing services; behavioral health; medical equipment and supplies; chiropractic and podiatric services; personal emergency response devices; prescriptions; and many more.
