Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox Announces Election of Two New Directors
Washington, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox P.L.L.C. (SKGF), an intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC, recently announced the election of Lori A. Gordon and Jon E. Wright to the directorship, effective January 1, 2010.

In addition to their client work in patent litigation and prosecution, both Ms. Gordon and Mr. Wright serve as members of The Reexamination Center Editorial Board. They are each admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. More details about each follow:
Ms. Lori A. Gordon -- Lori Gordon has more than fifteen years of technical and legal experience, and her practice includes specialized experience in patent litigation, including patent reexaminations and appeals before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences at the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as patent preparation and prosecution, counseling clients on the development and monetization of their intellectual property assets, and the preparation of opinions and patent due diligence studies. Prior to SKGF, she worked as an engineer for Bell Communications Research (Bellcore), the research and development organization for the regional telephone companies. Ms. Gordon holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University where she graduated valedictorian.
Mr. Jon E. Wright -- Mr. Wright is active in all aspects of the firm's patent practice, with a focus on complex patent litigation, appellate litigation and complex reexamination practice before the USPTO. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Wright spent seven years in the U.S. Navy submarine force, where he qualified as a submarine warfare officer and a naval nuclear engineer. He also has industry experience in the semiconductor manufacturing field. He has extensive patent experience in technologies ranging from computer hardware and software, broadband communications and wireless networking, heterogeneous database management, various internet technologies, semiconductor manufacturing, and computer graphics. Prior to joining SKGF, Mr. Wright clerked for the Honorable Alvin A. Schall at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He graduated magna cum laude from the George Mason University School of Law where he was the Managing Editor of the George Mason Law Review.
