CHICAGO, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen Carlotti, a management consultant with substantial expertise in developing and implementing growth and marketing strategies in consumer-based businesses, has been named a Senior Partner with Prophet.

Carlotti, 43, will be based out of Prophet's Chicago office.

Carlotti, with an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth and a Master's in Public Administration from Princeton, had been with McKinsey & Co. since 1990, most recently as a director in its Chicago office. While at McKinsey he led the firm's Midwestern Consumer/Retail Practice as well as its North American Consumer Marketing Practice.
He has worked closely with executive teams on developing new multi-channel strategies, optimizing brand and product portfolios and creating new sales and marketing organizations. Carlotti also recently designed a highly successful global turnaround strategy for a key product line of a leading consumer products company.
