His presentation, titled Marketing Residential Solar: How to Create an Integrated, Results Driven, Measurable Mix for Any Size Budget, is based on his nine years of working with solar integrators around the country, including the last three years with Stellar Solar. Attendees will learn how to get the most bang for their residential solar marketing buck and be presented proven solar marketing and public relations techniques along with examples of how to create an integrated, cost effective marketing strategy.
Examples and best practices covering traditional and digital mediums will be presented from regions across the country. A hard copy takeaway of a sample plan will be given to all attendees. While applicable to all sized solar companies, the presentation is geared towards small to medium size regional solar installers.
"David Boylan has done an amazing job elevating the Stellar Solar brand over the past three years," said Michael Powers, Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He added, "With David working with myself and the Stellar Solar executive team, Stellar Solar has become one of the top solar companies in San Diego County. We were voted Best Solar Panel Company by the San Diego Union-Tribune in 2011 and again in 2013 and have accumulated by far, the most 5-star reviews on Yelp of any solar integrator in the region. Along with building the Stellar brand, his efforts have significantly increased our leads, site evaluations, and sales each year he has been on board. His combination of bottom line business sense and creativity has enabled us to keep out cost-per-lead low, while producing some of the more memorable marketing campaigns in the industry right here in San Diego."
David Boylan added, "After spending the past nine years marketing solar across the U.S. for several different integrators, including the past three with Stellar Solar, I've developed and executed enough solar marketing campaigns to have gained some valuable insights into what works and what does not. I'm excited and honored to share examples of both with an audience of my peers from around the world. Small to medium-sized solar integrators typically do not have huge marketing budgets so I've worked with them to tap resources they may have otherwise overlooked and developed integrated plans that provide a solid return on investment while building their brands. Working in the solar industry has been a rollercoaster ride over the past few years but it's finally gaining solid traction in markets globally. It's been a great ride, and in my opinion, the best is yet to come."
For attendees of the show, you can catch David's presentation Tuesday, October 22 from 2:30PM - 4:00PM, Room 401A at McCormick Place.
