Stein Eriksen Lodge Appoints New Director of Sales and Marketing
TIM RUTLAND BRINGS MORE THAN 20 YEARS HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE TO THE LODGE
PARK CITY, Utah, March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Stein Eriksen Lodge today announced the appointment of Timothy Rutland as the new Director of Sales & Marketing of Utah's only Forbes Five Star property located mid-mountain at Deer Valley Resort. Rutland, with more than 20 years of hospitality experience in both independent and branded properties, is responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive business to Stein Eriksen Lodge and The Chateaux at Silver Lake; both properties managed by Stein Eriksen Lodge Management Corporation. Rutland comes to Stein Eriksen Lodge after working for many years for Ritz-Carlton at the Half Moon Bay, CA, Phoenix, AZ, and Marina Del Rey, CA properties; L'Ermitage Beverly Hills and most recently as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, CA.

Rutland is replacing Jan Raio former Director of Sales & Marketing. Raio announced her retirement after 17 years of valuable service at the Lodge. Under Raio's leadership involvement the lodge has experienced phenomenal growth in occupancy and revenues and the Lodge has achieved numerous accolades such as the Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond Designations and entered the property management business, overseeing operations of The Chateaux at Silver Lake. Raio will consult for the Lodge to facilitate the transition of marketing responsibilities to Rutland over the upcoming months.
