Stefanini Announces John Shane as Sales Vice President

Largest Brazil-based IT Services company strengthens US leadership team with new executive hire

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stefanini (www.stefanini.com), a leading global IT services company, today announced that John Shane has joined as Vice President of Sales, supporting Stefanini's business development strategy in the company's growing Midwest region.

Shane, who will be based at the company's Southfield Michigan US headquarters, will report to North America CEO Antonio Moreira.

Brazil-based Stefanini – a global provider of onshore and nearshore IT consulting, integration and development, and outsourcing services – grew revenues by 20% in 2011 and is projecting accelerated revenue growth in 2012, with the US market identified as a key target. Shane is the latest in a series of management additions in support of growth in the region. In 2011, Stefanini added Sally A. Brandtneris as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Shane, who has over 20 years experience in the technology industry, was previously President and CEO of Tech Support Alliance, which provided ERP Consulting, BPI and IT infrastructure services to mid-market companies. Prior to Tech Support Alliance, John was Vice President of Sales for IT services provider Whittman-Hart and Haverstick, where he was responsible for sales and geographic expansion.
