Stearns & Foster® Introduces Luxury Memory Foam Collection
New Collection Delivers Superior Craftsmanship and Innovation to Growing Specialty Segment
TRINITY, N.C., Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stearns & Foster® extends its signature approach and aesthetic to the memory foam segment with the introduction of its first memory foam offering – the Stearns & Foster Monogram Collection. Comprised of three distinct models, the new collection uses the highest quality materials to deliver the finest memory foam bed in the world.
"With the growth of the memory foam segment within the industry, combined with the record-breaking growth of the Stearns & Foster brand, we saw a great opportunity to introduce a luxury offering within the specialty segment," said Mark Delahanty, vice president and general manager specialty bedding, Sealy. "Our Stearns & Foster Monogram Collection stays true to its heritage of quality, offering all the benefits of memory foam consumers want while still giving them the quality materials and craftsmanship they've come to expect from the Stearns & Foster brand."
Distinguished by a unique combination of three responsive foam layers, the Stearns & Foster Monogram Collection is designed to sleep cooler while conforming softly to the body:
- The top layer, ClimaLux™ gel memory foam, is a proprietary gel-memory foam fused with the highest grade of OUTLAST™ material, which is more effective at removing excess heat than standard gel memory foam alone. ClimaLux™ gel memory foam is designed to promote a temperature range for deep, relaxing, restorative sleep.
- The UltraSense™ middle layer absorbs motion while conforming to the individual's size and shape, giving a more enveloping feel.
- Supporting the body underneath is the brand's proprietary UltraCore™ layer, made of a high-density Infinilux® foam, providing a more supportive and reenergizing sleeping experience.
In line with every Stearns & Foster mattress, the new Monogram collection is made with only the highest quality materials, which are handpicked to provide the ultimate level of quality and craftsmanship. Using only the finest silk and cashmere fabrics, attention to detail is demonstrated in every stitch, right down to the intricate soft-touch exterior, replete with beautiful designs.
Supporting the brand's rich heritage, each Stearns & Foster mattress is also designed and built in the United States and is made only by certified Stearns & Foster craftsmen. Because of the meticulous attention to detail, it takes twice as long to produce a mattress from the Stearns & Foster Monogram Collection than it takes to build a regular memory foam mattress. *
"The Monogram Collection further demonstrates Sealy's commitment to becoming the premier competitor in specialty bedding by leveraging the Stearns & Foster brand to create, what in time will become, the foremost luxury specialty program," said Dax Allen, marketing director specialty bedding, Sealy.
The Stearns & Foster Monogram Collection will be available beginning March 2013 in select retail stores nationwide. Pricing for the collection begins at $2,999.
