Steak-umm Kicks Off Facebook Sweepstakes with Big Screen TV Prize
TV Commercials Begin This Month; Enter by January 3, 2014
READING, Pa., Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Steak-umm Company LLC, creator of the thinly sliced, portion-controlled Steak-umm frozen sandwich steaks that have been a fixture on family dinner tables for over four decades, this month is launching a "How Do You Steak-umm Sweepstakes" with 10-second local and national commercials. The spots invite consumers to enter a Facebook sweepstakes through January 3, 2014, for a chance to win a big screen TV.
Proclaiming that Steak-umm Sliced Steaks are "100% beef, 100% delicious," the commercials ask consumers to like Steak-umm's Facebook page, optionally explain how they use the steaks ("Steak-umm stir fry? Steak-umm nachos? Steak-umm wraps?") and provide their email address to enter the sweepstakes. The winner will be selected at random from all entries received.
The spots will run on WTXF FOX 29 in Philadelphia during Philadelphia Eagles games, and on "Judge Judy" on CBS stations five times per week. Steak-umm regularly advertises on "Judge Judy," "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy."
"This is our first sweepstakes in at least a decade, and the first that combines a national television campaign with Facebook," said Sergei Szortyka, President of Steak-umm Company. "It's an ideal way to get consumers to our revamped Facebook site, let them see recipes provided by other Steak-umm fans as well as solicit their own ideas for cooking with Steak-umm products, and reward them for making the effort."
Sweepstakes participants must be 18 or older and reside in the continental U.S. No purchase is necessary. Complete rules are posted at https://woobox.com/offers/rules/k97yt2. The Steak-umm Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/SteakUmmMeats
