Staymobile™ Emerges as Industry Trailblazer in the Cell Phone Repair Industry
Electronic Repair, Accessory and Protection Services Franchise Launches with Plans to Seize the Mobile Marketplace
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Staymobile™, a service franchise providing electronic repair, accessories and protection for businesses and consumers, today announces an aggressive franchise growth strategy. The company plans to open 100 new stores over the next two years, with the ultimate objective of providing personal and corporate mobility to consumers and businesses nationwide. Research has indicated that 53 percent of Americans own a smartphone and have spent almost $6 billion on iPhone damages and more than $7 billion on Android damages since 2007. Such widespread use of smartphones and tablets solidifies the necessity of a company that repairs these devices on site.
"In today's rapidly evolving culture of mobility and accessibility, it is more important than ever that consumers and corporations have easy access to mobile repair and protection," says Staymobile™ CEO David Fromal. "Often times, we find that consumers have experienced frustration when product warranties or carriers are unable to help them with any needed repairs to their electronic devices. Our hope is to not only provide fast, on-the-go service, but also to continually evolve to meet the mobile needs of our customers."
Executive Team No Stranger to Franchising
Fromal leads the company in its corporate growth strategy, having previously served as vice president of franchise sales and development for CPR, Cell Phone Repair Franchise Systems, Inc., from 2009 to 2013. During his tenure, he assisted in the company's expansion from 10 stores to more than 100 by the end of 2012. Staymobile's progressive approach to mobile repair and protection initially drew Fromal to the business in 2013. Prior to his position at CPR, Fromal served as the President and CEO of Salis, Inc., as well as Executive Vice President of Strategic Development with TRX, Inc. Fromal began his career at American Express, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President & General Manager, Personal Travel. In that position, he was responsible for 125 retail stores and 1,250 associates. In addition, he worked with 1,500 franchise locations during his time as SVP.
Joining Fromal is Chuck Morrison, who serves as Staymobile™ president and COO, leading the company's marketing, operations and franchise support. Prior to his role at Staymobile, Morrison served as founder, president and CEO of MoRisen Records & Hot But Sour Music Publishing, an independent record label and music publishing company since 2002. He also has an extensive background in brand development, product development and marketing, overseeing the sales cycle of products from ideation to retail at HiREV, LLC., a company he co-founded in 1997.
