Stater Bros. to Open New Supermarket in Hemet

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Dec. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. has announced that the Vons Supermarket located at 3125 West Florida Avenue in Hemet will soon become a "Blue Ribbon" Stater Bros. Supermarket. Located in the Village West Shopping Center, this will replace a smaller Stater Bros. Supermarket, which is located across the street at the corner of Sanderson and Florida Avenues in Hemet.

Stater Bros. expects to take possession of this location in February 2015. This location will subsequently undergo a major remodel, including the addition of 8,000 sq. ft. and reopen as a state-of-the-art "Blue Ribbon" Stater Bros. Supermarket. The new 46,000 sq. ft. Stater Bros. Sanderson Supermarket will be almost double the size of the existing Stater Bros. Supermarket that it will be replacing. A Grand Opening Celebration for the new Stater Bros. Sanderson Supermarket is planned for fall 2015.
