SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. is pleased to announce the opening of its first Supermarket in Covina, California on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Located at 1023 North Grand Avenue, the new "Blue Ribbon" Supermarket will bring Covina residents a conveniently-located and modern full-service shopping experience along with Stater Bros. "Hometown Values."

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held in the store parking lot at 8:15 a.m., and the new Covina "Blue Ribbon" Stater Bros. Supermarket will open for shoppers at 9:00 a.m. After Wednesday, the new Supermarket will be open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and will be led by Store Manager Ivan Ulloa, who has over 24 years of service with Stater Bros. Markets.

The new Covina Supermarket will be the first location for Stater Bros. in Covina and the 26^th Stater Bros. Supermarket location in Los Angeles County. The new Covina "Blue Ribbon" Supermarket further demonstrates Stater Bros. commitment to the San Gabriel Valley, which it has served since 1954 with supermarkets in Azusa, Claremont, Glendora, La Verne, Pomona, Rowland Heights, San Dimas, Walnut, West Covina and Whittier.

The new 42,258 sq. ft. Covina "Blue Ribbon" Stater Bros. Supermarket will feature:
