Stater Bros. Honors Truck Drivers at Annual "Safe Driving Awards Banquet"

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stater Bros. Supermarkets recently honored its 297 Truck Drivers at the Company's 28th Annual Safe Driving Awards Banquet at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California.

The current roster of Stater Bros. Truck Drivers represents an impressive total of 3,572 YEARS OF SAFE DRIVING WITHOUT AN ACCIDENT.

The Company is especially proud of the 10 current Truck Drivers who have each driven over TWO MILLION ACCIDENT-FREE MILES and the 96 current Truck Drivers who have each driven over ONE MILLION ACCIDENT-FREE MILES.  These Truck Drivers proudly wear their distinguishable "Million Mile" Jackets and Caps, which are presented to them by the Company.

At this year's Safe Driving Awards Banquet, two (2) Stater Bros. "Family" members joined the "Two Million Safe Miles Club." And eleven (11) Stater Bros. "Family" members joined the "One Million Safe Miles Club."  In addition to receiving their "Million Mile" Jackets and Caps, these Truck Drivers will be featured in the Company Newsletter.
