The "Heroes Challenge" is limited to 132 players who compete for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place and consists of twelve of Stockton's PGA Tour friends, six Medal of Honor Recipients, and Celebrities who will grace the well-kept greens at the Victoria Club in Riverside, California on Monday, March 7, 2011.
Three years ago, Stater Bros. Supermarket's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jack H. Brown, partnered with long-time friend and PGA Champions Tour Pro Dave Stockton to launch a vision that has helped countless charities, causes and community members. This year, the event will focus its efforts on helping organizations that assist children in need.

Both Brown and Stockton were born and raised in San Bernardino, California and have been proud residents of the Inland Empire for most of their lives. Because of their close ties to the community, Brown and Stockton feel a great desire to give back to the Inland Empire.
