Stater Bros. Celebrates 75 Years of Serving Southern California Families

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Jan. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- It's been 75 years since founders Cleo and Leo Stater opened the very first Stater Bros. grocery store in Yucaipa, California, and for 75 years Stater Bros. has continued to provide its valued customers with the lowest possible prices, the best quality merchandise and friendliest service in town.

Also in celebration of this major milestone, Stater Bros. will publish a hard cover 75th Anniversary Journal which will chronologically illustrate the company's journey through the years, from one small neighborhood grocery store to one of America's premier Supermarket Chains.
