Statement from Congressman Fattah on Positive Jobs Report: Obama Recovery is Working

WASHINGTON, Aug. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA), a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, issues this statement in response to today's national employment report:

"Today's employment report – 163,000 more Americans going to work in July – is the best since February. The jump in manufacturing employment, starting with durable goods, is especially encouraging.

"This report marks the 29^th consecutive month of private sector jobs growth under the Obama recovery. That's almost two and a half years of steady green on the dial – 4.5 million more Americans working.
