Statement by the Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), on the Occasion of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Swimming Trials
OTTAWA, April 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Over the past six days, the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Swimming Trials have been taking place at the 1976 Olympic Pool in Montréal, Quebec.
More than 700 swimmers have given their all, striving to qualify for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games. For the first time in Canadian sports history, these selection trials have been presented by Swimming Canada in partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee and the Canadian Paralympic Committee.
