Statement by Chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young, James S. Turley on President Obama's Submission of FTAs to Congress
WASHINGTON, Oct. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young James S. Turley, today released the following statement:
"As a member of the President's Export Commission (PEC), I applaud the President's actions yesterday formally submitting free trade agreements with Colombia, Korea, and Panama to the Congress for consideration. The submission of the FTAs was one of the first recommendations made by the PEC in September of 2010 because FTAs will help the US move forward with a revitalized pro-export mindset, create jobs and stimulate our economy. I urge Congress to act on these FTAs as quickly as possible."
