State Library to Feature Exhibit and Lecture on Pa.'s Covered Bridges
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The State Library of Pennsylvania will unveil an exhibit this week to showcase the Commonwealth's picturesque and historically important covered bridges.
A special presentation will be offered at 10 A.M., Saturday, May 9, and again at noon, Thursday, May 14 at the State Library, Room 321, 607 South Dr., Harrisburg. The presenter is Joyce Soroka, a former state employee who has served in Pennsylvania and other states on the board of several groups aimed at preserving and studying the history of covered bridges.
The exhibit will run May 9 – 17 at the State Library in Harrisburg.
