COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Aaron M. Ockerman has joined the Columbus office of McDonald Hopkins LLC as director, state government affairs at the more than 80-year-old business advisory and advocacy law firm. Rebecca M. Kuhns, who joined the firm in 2011, has been promoted to manager, state government affairs.

Aaron M. Ockerman

A non-attorney professional, Ockerman has more than 15 years of state legislative experience, most recently as president of Ockerman Consulting. He has considerable expertise in the development and implementation of legislative and executive agency strategies for clients, which was gained during more than a decade at various consulting firms on capital square where he advocated on behalf of multiple clients including Fortune 500 companies, local governments, non-profits, and statewide associations.
