NEW YORK, July 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The names have been announced and the brackets unveiled for the 2015 Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders. Fans and analysts are making their predictions. Now, Statcast powered by Amazon Web Services puts MLBAM's tracking technology data to work, analyzing the rankings and matchups based on the home runs hit by the eight participants so far in 2015. All distances during the event from Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati will be measured using Statcast powered by Amazon Web Services.

MLBAM has updated its popular mobile game, MLB.com Home Run Derby 15, with the eight participants and new bracket and timed round format for fans to compete in the derby from Great American Ball Park, home to the Cincinnati Reds and the 2015 Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders.
This new version of the game is available as a free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play and includes multiple ballparks, highlighted by its HD re-creation of Great American Ball Park. Fans may play in both single player and multiplayer modes for a chance to capture the Home Run Derby title, reach the top of the worldwide leaderboards and earn valuable upgrades.

After running 10,000 simulations of the bracket via the MLB.com Home Run Derby mobile game, the participant winning the bracket most often was Joc Pederson at 25 percent. The Dodgers rookie was followed by top-seeded Albert Pujols (23%), fellow rookie Kris Bryant (19%) and Todd Frazier (16%) of the host Cincinnati Reds.
The 2015 Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders, which is part of Gatorade All-Star Workout Day, will be broadcast live on ESPN and MLB.com beginning at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on Monday, July 13.
