Starwood Capital Group Hires Christopher Keber as Director of Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations

GREENWICH, Conn., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Starwood Capital Group, a leading private equity firm focused on real estate and energy, announces the hiring of Christopher Keber as Director of Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations.  Assuming this new position at the firm, Mr. Keber will lead a group responsible for the investor outreach efforts of the firm, including capital-raising, investor relations and marketing.

Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Keber worked in the New York office of the Real Estate Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, a leading global private placement group focused on fundraising for private equity vehicles dedicated to real estate.  In this capacity, Mr. Keber was responsible for sourcing third-party discretionary equity from investors representing public and private pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, fund-of-funds, sovereign wealth funds, high net worth families and institutional consultants, primarily in the United States and Europe.

Previously, he was employed at Trinity Partners/Trinity Capital Advisors, a real estate services and investment firm where, as a Managing Director, he led the Corporate Services Group, advising owners, users and developers of institutional real estate.  Prior to that, Mr. Keber was National Director, Business Development, at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting (then Little & Associates), a national architectural, engineering and planning firm focused on commercial real estate. Mr. Keber holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
